*1/2 tsp garam masala

*fresh coriander leaves for garnish

For Steamed Rice

*1 cup basmati rice

*2 cups water

*salt (optional)

Step by Step cooking Method

1. preapare the Rajma

Soak kidney beans overnight or for at least 8 hours. Drain and pressure cook them with water , salt, bay leaf ,and black cardamom until they turn soft and tender . Keep the cooking liquid aside -It adds flavour to the Curry.

2.Make the Masala

Hit oil or butter ina pan.Add cumin seeds and let them crackle .Salute chopped onions until they become golden brown .Mix in ginger garlic paste and cook briefly.

Now add tomato puree and cook until the mixture chickens and oil start seprating . Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt . Cook the masala properly to enhance flavour

3.Cook the Rajma Curry

Add the boiled rajma along with its stock into the masala.Mix well and let it simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes . Lightly mash a few beans to create a thicker , Creamy texture.Finish with garam masala.

4.Cook the Rice

Ribse Basmati rice until the water runs clear.cool it with water until soft fluffy . You can use a pressure cooker or an open port.
